Music Programs & Faculty
Great Valley offers vocal and instrumental music opportunities from elementary school through high school.
High School
Programs include marching, concert, jazz and pep bands; string and symphony orchestras; indoor percussion and color guard; choirs and vocal ensembles; guitar, piano and music theory; pit orchestra; Drama Guild and musical theater.

Great Valley Music Communications
CutTime is a primary communication tool for Great Valley Music extracurricular activities. It is used to distribute forms and track student financial account balances, uniforms and formalwear. Ask your student’s music teacher for your family’s CutTime access link and login instructions. Each student and parent/guardian unit shares one account.

Teacher Communications
Your student’s music teacher is the primary source for rehearsal schedules, performance details, forms, formalwear, account information and other program-specific updates.
Follow the instructions provided by your student’s teacher for the communication platform used by that program.

Member Meetings
GVMPA membership meetings are open to EVERYONE involved in the GV music program and are generally held virtually on the last Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM.

GVMPA is an independent, parent-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides advocacy, service and financial support to Great Valley music students and their teachers.

Parents and guardians of students participating in Great Valley music programs are voting members of GVMPA and are encouraged to attend membership meetings.

Student Fundraising Accounts
Some GVMPA fundraisers credit proceeds to the participating student rather than to GVMPA. Depending on the fundraiser, student funds may be used for approved music-related expenses such as participation fees, uniform or formalwear rentals, instruments, music lessons, private programs or camps.

Benefits and eligible uses vary by fundraiser. Follow the instructions published for each campaign and contact the GVMPA treasurer with account-specific questions.
